I graduated from the University of Maine with a B.S. in Wildlife Ecology. Currently I am working toward an MS in Forest Entomology with the invasive woodwasp Sirex noctilio. I'm very interested in examining the long-term effects of invasive species on newly invaded regions, especially at the evolutionary level. I'm hoping to examine entomopathogens, host-parasite dynamics, and size variability in Sirex noctilio populations in upstate NY. Outside of academia, I enjoy playing ice hockey, fly fishing, rock climbing, hiking, fungal foraying, and kayaking.
