COURSES TAUGHT
EFB 352 Elements of Entomology (3 credit hours). Two hours of lecture, three hours of laboratory/field work. General classifications of insects, morphology, physiology, ecology, behavior, and basic principles of population control.
EFB 797 Climate Reconstruction/Great Lakes Ecosystems (1 credit hour). The effects of the Wisconsinan glaciation and the Holocene on the distribution of plants and animals in the Great Lakes region.
TOPRESEARCH INTERESTS
Insect taxonomy, morphology and behavior; systematics and evolutionary behavior of predatory wasps; host/parasite relationships of Hymenoptera, Diptera; climate reconstruction of the Great Lakes Region and Atlantic Coastal Plain.
