My current Master's research focuses on the habitat associations of lowland boreal birds in the Adirondack Park, a group of rare birds found in scattered habitats that are believed to be threatened by a warming climate. More broadly, my research interests include: wildlife-habitat interactions, landscape-level wildlife distribution, and endangered species conservation and restoration. More broadly still, I am also working on a project to promote alternative energy development in central New York; I spend the rest of my time working on a 200-acre sheep dairy in Cazenovia, NY. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resource Management from Cornell University (2002).

I am a Master’s student in Environmental and Forest Biology with an area of study in Wildlife Biology and Management. I’m interested in the population dynamics, distribution, and habitat use of wildlife in northern forest and desert ecosystems. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife Biology from the University of Vermont (2002). In my free time I enjoy hiking and kayaking.

After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Sciences from Cazenovia College (2007), I gained experience in the field of conservation through several wildlife internships around the country before entering ESF. I am currently pursuing a Masters' degree in EFB, focusing on the impacts of invasive earthworms on salamander habitat and prey in the Adirondacks. I enjoy running, hiking, drawing, and the occasional football game.
