The launch party on 2 December was a great success. About 60 people braved the cold weather and joined us for warmth, camaraderie, great refreshments and great conversation. In addition to the 16 books that were pre-ordered, 21 more copies were ordered that night, for a total of 37 books sold. That amounts to more that $400 raised for the Tully Free Library's development fund!
We thank everyone who came for their generosity and warmth. Here are a few pics from the launch. (I apologize if I didn't get your name right, or if I wasn't able to identiy you. Please let me know if I've made a mistake so I can correct it.
Tully is a great community. Special thanks go to Ilene Puente, Richard Puente, Lorraine Tickner, and Betsy Shahan for their help in organizing the launch, to Charlene Hecht for taking the photographs. Special thanks to Betsy Mazanek, who donated a copy to the library! Thanks everyone!
