Registration Fee Waivers for

Extension Educators and Students

 

 

About the registration fee waivers...

Through funding from CSREES, 6 student and 10 extension educator registration fee waivers are available for NET 2006. The individuals selected to receive the waivers will be chosen randomly from the pool of applicants.

 

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be apply:

*  You must be presenting either a poster or oral presentation at NET 2006, and must submit a poster or presentation proposal by the March 15 deadline.

*  You would not be able to attend NET 2006 without the financial assistance of this registration fee waiver.

*  For students, you must be matriculated in a college tourism or recreation (or related field) program at the B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. level.

*  For Extension Educators, you must be in an extension-related position with the Cooperative Extension, Sea Grant, or Natural Resources Conservation Service.

 

 

To apply...

Complete and submit (via mail or e-mail to Diane Kuehn, NET 2006 Conference Co-Chair) an application form by April 3, 2006.

You will find out if you have received the waiver via e-mail by April 13. Individuals who do not receive the waiver but who have submitted a poster or presentation proposal, will be able to withdraw their proposals at that time if they wish. The availability of these registration waivers is dependent on the receipt of funds by SUNY ESF from the original granting institution.
