Congratulations on your acceptance to ESF! I’m glad you’ve made the decision to become a member of our community; you should be proud to be a member of the fall 2011 entering class. The profile of this class is exceptionally strong and you will be joining the current student body who has demonstrated excellence in academic achievement, public service and involvement in the ESF community. Therefore, you need to be prepared to hit the ground running upon your arrival in August. The information provided on the “Accepted Students” website will help you do just that. As we busily prepare for your arrival, there are a few things to which I want to introduce you.
The single most important resource available to you right now is the web, so we’ve created a website just for you! Visit http://www.esf.edu/accepted/ for all pertinent information and required activities. You will not be receiving hard copies of the information posted on the web so it is imperative that you access the accepted student website to learn about upcoming requirements and activities.
As we draw closer to the Fall 2011 semester (and your arrival here on campus!) I want to bring to your attention helpful online resources for student services that Syracuse University provides you as an ESF student. Remember, as an ESF student, it is to your benefit that you are able to not only take advantage of all that SUNY-ESF has to offer, but also the services that Syracuse University offers you as well. Visit the following websites at your earliest convenience in order to prepare accordingly:
Expect more information on Fall Orientation 2011 in early June. We look forward to seeing you in August!
