Finalizing Your Undergraduate Admission

The entire SUNY-ESF campus congratulates you on your admission and welcomes you to our college community. As you prepare for your arrival on campus, there are a few things we would like to remind you about to ensure a smooth transition to ESF.

If you have not already done so, you should submit your Commitment to Enroll Form, Housing and Meal Plan Application and advanced payment to hold your place in our incoming class. Transfer students living off-campus are responsible for making your own arrangements for off-campus housing.

If, due to financial hardship, you are unable to submit the advanced payment, you should contact the Director of Admissions to discuss a fee waiver.

To complete your admissions file, which becomes your permanent academic record upon enrollment, we have prepared a checklist of items necessary to finalize your admission. All of these documents must be sent by the agency or institution—documents issued to students are not considered official.

Freshmen:

• Final official high school transcript confirming your high school graduation
• Final official college transcripts for any college level courses taken in high school
• Official Advanced Placement (AP), College-Level Examination Program (CLEP), or International Baccalaureate (IB) test scores.

Transfer Students:

• Final official college transcripts from any colleges you have attended prior to ESF, including summer course work or any college level courses taken in high school.
• Final official high school transcript, or the equivalent, confirming high school graduation.
• Official Advanced Placement (AP), College-Level Examination Program (CLEP), or International Baccalaureate (IB) test scores.
