Columbus Day Visitation
On the Columbus Day school holiday we will offer two College Information Sessions for prospective high school students, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. You can attend either session and still have time to visit another college in the Central New York region. The College Information Session will introduce you to ESF’s academic and student life experiences. For families that would like to spend a little more time at ESF, we will be offering additional academic department workshops from the Departments of Sustainable Construction Management and Engineering and Forest and Natural Resources Management between the morning and afternoon information sessions.
Veteran's Day Visitation
On the Veteran’s Day school holiday, we will offer two College Information Sessions for prospective high school students, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. You can attend either session and still have time to visit another college in the Central New York region. The College Information Session will introduce you to ESF’s academic and student life experiences. For families that would like to spend a little more time at ESF, we will be offering an academic information session by the Department of Paper and Bioprocess Engineering between the morning and afternoon sessions. The Department of Landscape Architecture will be hosting their Portfolio Day in the morning. Please see below for additional information about their program.
Landscape Architecture Portfolio Day
Portfolio Day is an opportunity to visit ESF's campus to meet with Landscape Architecture faculty and students, find out what a career in Landscape Architecture is all about, and get some personalized pointers on how to best present your creative work as part of your application to university level design or visual arts programs. It's ok if you do not have a portfolio! Part of the purpose of this program is to see if you might need a portfolio for the college program you might be interested in and then how you can put together the best presentation for your needs. Come for any or all of the sessions.
Information Meetings by Appointment

They are not formal interviews, which are not required or considered in the admission process.
