  • Quantification and Valuation of Ecosystem Services: A SUNY Conversation in the Disciplines
    Alumni Lounge (Nifkin), SUNY ESF campus, 1 Forestry Drive, Syracuse, NY 13210. This conference is part of the State University of New York’s “Conversations in the Disciplines.” "Conversations" funds intercampus conferences which bring together State University faculty and visiting scholars to examine new trends, review promising findings, and better acquaint them with professional developments in their fields and on other campuses.

  • SUOC Bake Sale
    8:00 am - 4:00 pm. First Floor Marshall Hall. Stop by the Outing Club's bake sale in Marshall Hall from 8am to 4pm. Proceed will go towards first aid training for our members. Items available will include hot chocolate, delicious cookies and muffins and so much more for cheap. Or you can just come talk with us about climbing mountains, shredding gnar and all the awesome places we go that you can too.

  • Kiln Drying Workshop
    139 Baker Lab, SUNY ESF campus, 1 Forestry Drive, Syracuse, NY 1321-. This course will provide practical knowledge about how wood is effectively kiln dried, and scientific background on related wood properties and drying processes. It will have value for novice as well as experienced kiln operators, and sales, purchasing, marketing and manufacturing managers. Instruction, by university professors and various industry experts, will be in the classroom and through hands-on lab exercises using our modern kiln.
