Topics include VIA field as it pertains to transportation projects; landscape inventory with special reference to state/local significant historic & cultural landscape features; advances in visibility analyses, basic concepts & new technology; scoping problem-Route 17 upgrade to interstate standards; scoping for landscape context & significance, sensitive receptors; viewshed and simulation viewpoints; next steps - simulation to assessment to mitigation; and visualization support.
