Event Description: Event image.The situation for polar bears is pretty grim as global warming causes a decrease in their sea ice habitat. Dr Don Moore (ESF ’76), Associate Director for Animal Care Sciences at Smithsonian’s National Zoo, shares his knowledge and ideas about how to help, based on 10 years experience working with polar bears in captivity and as an outreach educator on behalf of the award-winning NGO Polar Bears International.
