Event Description: The second in a series of six webinars on the health effects of Hydrofracking will occur on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at 12 noon in 122 Jahn. Dr. Robert Jackson of Duke University will be presenting "Geochemistry Studies of Impacts of Hydraulic Fracturing on Water Resources in Pennsylvania".
There will be four additional webinars over spring. Speakers will be research scientists from the University of Pennsylvania, Duke University, and University of Texas. These webinars are being sponsored by the Upstate New York Society for Risk Analysis. Due to sponsor limitations, you will only be able to access them from either 122 Jahn Laboratory (ESF campus) or at Rm 369 Link Hall (Syracuse University). All webinars are 40 min presentations followed by 20 minutes for discussion periods.
