NYWEA Earth Week Documentary Showing

Campus Calendar

Tuesday, April 22, 2014
5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Location: Nifkin Lounge

Event Description: NYWEA (New York Water Environmental Association) is showing a documentary on Earth Week called "Watershed." The NYWEA chapter wants to show "Watershed" on Earth Day to raise awareness of water conservation issues that impact millions of citizens in the Western United States and to inform students on how they can get involved with NYWEA on campus. This documentary showing will be free for faculty and students; however, food and refreshments will be on sale and all the proceeds will go towards the Raise the River nonprofit organization. This money will be used to fund essential restoration work to reconnect the Colorado River to its delta. For more information about the documentary and its supporting nonprofit organization, visit
