Adaptive Peaks Seminar Series presents Dr. Scott McArt

Dr. McArt, a Research Scientist in the Department of Entomology at Cornell University, will be the featured speaker for the Adaptive Peaks seminar series on Thurs March 24th. Dr. McArt is interested the ecology and evolution of plant‐animal and plant‐animal‐pathogen interactions. Research topics in his lab include pathogen transmission by pollinators, pathogen transmission among pollinators and the influence of pesticide and pathogen interactions on plant pollinators, specifically protection of bumblebee and honey bee health. Dr. McArt is
also currently working on the development of the New York State Crop Pollinator Protection Plan.
