Charles Lathrop Pack Demonstration Forest

The Warrensburg, New York campus plays host to one of the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation's environmental education camps, where high school students receive an introduction to environmental studies. PO Box 158, Warrensburg, NY 12885, 518/623-9679.

Directions

From Albany and all points west, south and east, take the Northway I-87 to Exit 23 (Warrensburg/Diamond Point). Turn left and then right onto US-9. Proceed on US-9 through the town of Warrensburg. Approximately 1/4 mile after the junction with Rt. 28 (stay on Rt. 9) you will see a large white sign on the left hand side of the road stating "Charles Lathrop Pack Demonstration Forest." Turn left into the driveway and follow slowly (15 mph) to camp, approximately 1.2 miles.
