Our New Home - The Edwin C. Jahn Laboratory:
In October of 1997 we dedicated the new Edwin C.Jahn Laboratory - 71,080 sq.ft. dedicated to laboratory education and graduate research in chemistry.

How to find us:

We are located in the southeast quadrant of the cityof Syracuse, NY, USA. Syracuse is readily accesible by air (HancockInternational Airport), train (AMTRAK), bus or car. Interstate Highwaysto Syracuse are I90 (the New York State Thruway) and I81. Note forpeople who may have used the bus or train services previously. The Bus Station and Amtrak station have relocated to the northern part of Syracuse and are now located between the Carousel Mall and the P and C Stadium. Taxi service to ESF is available from this new location.

From the South: Coming from the south, exit from I81 on the Adams and Harrison St. exit, turn right from the ramp and past the Hospital to the top of the hill. Turnright at the traffic light on Irving Ave. and continue to the end. Turn left.

From the North: Coming from the North, exit from I81 on the Adams and Harrison St. exit, stay left on the exit ramp and merge into the middle or inner lane of the road underneath I81. Turn left at the end, onto Adams St., continue past theHospital to the top of the hill. Turn right at the light onto Irving Ave.and continue to the end.

By TAXI: If you use public transportation, taxi service is available from the airport,bus/ train stations. The College is located at the south end of Irving Avenue,directly south of the Carrier Dome. Turn right at the light onto Irving Ave. and continue to the end.

Proceed through the guard's gate - you should know who you are visiting. Chemistry is located in the new Edwin C. Jahn Laboratory. Proceed up the hill and turn right into the first street on campus. Proceed to the end of the lot and look for parking. Additional parkingis located behind the laboratory, just follow the service road around tothe right and down the hill. WARNING: If you do not have a parking permit from the ESF campus police, your vehicle may be ticketed and/or towed. Paid parking is also available at a Syracuse University garage on Irving Avenue, about 50 yards north of the campus entrance.
