ESF's Schwab Joins Professional Group


SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Richard A. Schwab of Manlius, the director of forest properties at the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) has been named a member of International Who's Who of Professionals.

Schwab administers more than 25,000 acres of property across New York state that serve as research, teaching and demonstration sites for various ESF programs.

Schwab is a member of the Society of American Foresters, the New York Society of American Foresters and the National Institute of Parks and Grounds Maintenance. He obtained his bachelor's and master's degrees from ESF. He has been employed with the college since 1974.
