Embassy Official to Discuss China's Environment
SYRACUSE, N.Y. - An alumnus of the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) who is now an official in the American embassy in the People's Republic of China will be in Syracuse this week to lead a discussion about China's environment.
David Bleyle is the Counselor for Environment, Science and Technology at the embassy in Beijing. He will host a round-table discussion 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Thursday in 213 Marshall Hall on the ESF campus.
Bleyle is a 1970 graduate of ESF, where he studied wood and polymer chemistry. He is a career member of the U.S. Foreign Service.
