ESF hosts codes seminar
New codes focus of May training seminar
A training seminar regarding Energy Conservation Construction Code (ECCC), soon to become mandatory in New York state, will be hosted by the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry's Faculty of Construction Management and Wood Products Engineering.
This training overview will be held May 1 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Room 140 of Baker Laboratory on the college campus. There is no charge for the seminar which is sponsored by the New York State Department of State, Energy Unit.
The seminar will focus on the residential provisions of the ECC and include discussion of the following: scope and application, mandatory requirements, compliance paths, and a demonstration of the MECcheck Energy Code Compliance Tool.
