Green Building Conference Held at SUNY-ESF
May 20 & 21, 2003
Meeting New York State's mandatory 2002 Energy Conservation Construction Codes (ECCC) will be the focus of a two-day conference at the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) May 20 and 21.
The Green Building Conference will be held in the Alumni Lounge in Marshall Hall on the ESF campus in Syracuse.
This conference, sponsored by ESF and the New York State Department of State, Energy Unit, will focus on the commercial and high-rise residential provisions.
Speakers at the conference include Raymond Andrews and Michael Burnetter from the New York State Department of State Building Codes Division; and Craig Kneeland, senior project manager of the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority.
There will also be an intermediate training workshop to help professionals prepare for the LEEDTM Accreditation Exam by providing a technical review of each point in the LEEDTM Green Building Rating System.
