Putting into practice President Bush’s call for an alternative energy future

Collaborative effort between the Suny College of Environmental Science and Forestry and MACNY

SURE (strategies for the use of sustainable and renewable energy) is a series of workshops for architects, builders, designers, and consulting engineers covering the latest technology and business applications for renewable energy systems including photovoltaics, wind power, biomass and conversion to biofuels, fuel cells, and geothermal heat pumps.

“The incorporation of renewable technologies for energy production is an emerging business and environmental opportunity for New York State and the world. This is especially true for the engineering and construction industries since forms of renewable energy are at the heart of cost-saving construction and planning.”
