SUNY-ESF chemistry professor, Dr. David Johnson is helping local health authorities in the effort to reduce lead poisoning in children. Lead in some toys has generated large-scale recalls and there is continuing concern about older homes and the use of lead-based paints. WSYR television reporter Kelly McPherson interviewed Dr. Johnson, among others, for two stories on the topic.
