The company employs 1,100 people nationwide, including about 800 in Central New York.
The company, whose philanthropic focus is on education, especially Science, Technology, Engineering and Math, believes ESF does a great job preparing students for STEM careers which will ultimately benefit the community, the country and advance SRC’s mission: helping to keep America safe and strong.
By encouraging youth to enter STEM fields and creating jobs to employ them, SRC aims to keep talent in Central New York. In fact, SRC employs 15 ESF graduates, including company president Paul Tremont, class of ‘78.
“SRC is focused on problems of national significance,” Tremont said. “Investing in ESF and its students will further advance the science and technology in areas such as renewable energy, molecular biology, and chemistry. This program also enables the development of new, innovative solutions for our country's most challenging problems.”
