Facilities
The primary instrument in EaSSIL is a
ThermoFinnigan Delta XL Plus isotope ratio mass spectrometer.
The Delta Plus is interfaced to several peripheral
devices:
- Costech Elemental Analyzer for the C and
N analysis of solid and liquid samples
- ThermoFinnigan TC/EA for H and O analysis
of solid and liquid samples
- Thermo Trace GC for C, N, H and O analysis
of individual compounds
