Services

The facilities in EaSSIL are able to provide the following services to both on-campus and external users.

• Stable carbon, nitrogen, hydrogen, and oxygen isotope composition of solid and liquid samples
• Stable carbon and hydrogen isotope composition of individual organic compounds including lipids, amino acids and carbohydrates
• Stable nitrogen isotope composition of individual amino acids
• Weight percent of carbon and nitrogen of solid samples

We work with individual users to determine their needs and in many cases individuals are trained to use the equipment to analyze their own samples.
