I am pursuing a Master's in Ecology as part of Dr. Neil Ringler's lab. My interests include feeding ecology, bioenergetics, and species interactions (competition and predator-prey), mostly working with fish and macroinvertebrates in lotic systems. I am currenty working on a study to determine the extent of predation on age 0+ Chinook salmon in the lower Salmon River as they migrate out to Lake Ontario. Potential studies of ontogenetic feeding shifts may also result from this work. I also work as a teaching assistant for Dr. Limburg's fishery science & management and Dr. Stewart's ichthyology courses.
