Welcome to EFB493/693
This course is designed to provide students with an understanding of how habitat evaluation and population modeling can be used to develop management plans for wildlife. Students are expected to enter the course with background experience in basic field biology (including dendrology), general ecology (concepts such as plant succession and population growth) and wildlife biology (techniques for managing habitats and populations). No computer experience is required beyond word-processing, but knowledge of spreadsheet software is helpful.
