Applications should be submitted to UMU no later than 15 March of the year prior to the desired year of admission.
Early admissions/early acceptance programs are generally geared to students in the top quartile of their high school class and with competitive SAT scores. Prospective students should present a strong record of achievement in math and science, with at least three years of Regents or Honors courses in both areas. A student applying during their first three years of College study must additionally show a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or better in college- level math and science courses. During the first two years of College study, a prospective student should also maintain a GPA of at least 3.0 in all science course, and complete between 60-70 hours of prerequisites (determined by UMU Student Admissions at the time of admission). Students should also be able to demonstrate a commitment to pursuing a career in the health professions by volunteer or observational experience in your profession of choice. top
ESF undergraduates students gain admission to UMU in one of two ways:
In addition, ESF students can gain admission to UMU's Doctor of Physical Therapy program through our '3+3' program. ESF students enrolled in the 3+3 program spend their first three years at ESF doing preparatory coursework, then transfer to UMU for the completion of their degree.
