Joint Programs with Upstate Medical University
ESF has recently instituted a joint program with the College of Health Professions at Upstate Medical University. It offers ESF students unique opportunities for early and guaranteed admission to one of seven bachelor's degree programs at UMU:

• Cardiovascular Perfusion
• Cytotechnology
• Medical Imaging Sciences
• Medical Technology
• Physical Therapy
• Radiation Therapy
• Respiratory Care

ESF students gain admission to UMU in one of two ways:

• The Early Assurance Program qualifies ESF students to transfer to UMU in their junior year and complete their degree requirements there. Students may apply at any time during their freshman year.
• The Early Admission (GOLD) Program qualifies prospective ESF students to apply as high school seniors for admission to UMU. Students complete their first two years at ESF and are guaranteed admission to UMU in the junior year.
