Animal Physiology is live on BlackBoard.
To get to Blackboard, simply go to:
http://www.blackboard.syr.edu
(There is a permanent link in the box above to the right.)
You will see a splashpage where you can log in.
To log in, use your SU NetID and password (not your ESF net ID). These are identical to the NetID and password you use to access MyMail, MySlice and other applications.
Once you have logged in, you will see a menu with all your courses that also have a presence on BlackBoard. Click on the link to EFB462, and you're there!
Spend a little time browsing and getting to know the system. We'll have a little tutorial in class on Tuesday.

Welcome to Animal Physiology. I hope you all had a productive and enjoyable summer.

Our first class meeting will be on Tuesday 28 August 2007 in Room 140 Baker at 11:00 AM.

In preparation for our first class meeting, please do the following:

Download the course introduction and course calendar (links in the green box to the right) and familiarize yourself with what they say.
Buy the textbook (Animal Physiology: Adaptation & Environment. 5th ed. Schmidt-Nielsen, K.), which is available from the Orange Student Bookstore in Marshall Square
Read Chapter 1 of the text.
Read the introductory essays posted in the green box to the right.
Read the Chapter 1 self-study questions, posted in the green box to the right.
