Publishing News and Celebrations

Reading, writing, and reviewing are central to our profession, and our students are mentored to participate in this process. Manuscripts in development will be presented at a range of venues, from the American Geophysical Union meetings in the fall to the ESF Spotlight on Research and Outreach in the spring and many excellent conferences and lectures in-between. We are excited by the recent papers on the eco-hydraulics of river restoration, the planning and design of sustainable watershed services for water-food-energy-health security, and tools that integrate engineering with social and natural resource science. As an Associate Editor for Hydrological Processes and Water Resources Research, I am partial to seeing great papers published in these leading journals.
