Background

Outside of ESF I reside with my family in the University District of Syracuse, part of Onondaga County in the Finger Lakes Region of New York. Our family history has roots in Hungary, Macedonia, Saxony, the UK, and more, and we have lived or worked in South Africa & Honduras, as well as US locals such as San Francisco, CA, Cambridge, MA, Washington, DC, Raleigh, NC, Princeton, NJ, New York City, NY, Pittsford, NY, Ithaca, NY, and more. My wife Anna and I have two children, Sierra Elizabeth and Noah Charles. They make life one interesting experiment, with theories often formulated and falsified. Anna is an adjunct instructor of science education at Syracuse University, as well as active in local groups such as community supported agriculture and schools. Of all the places we have visited, the CNY people and environment are exceptionally pleasant, and the College of Environmental Science and Forestry is a wonderful place for professional and personal growth.

• Sierra Elizabeth was born at 5:52 PM on May 17, 1998 (7lbs 9ozs, 21 inches)
• Noah Charles was born at 12:31 PM on July 17, 2001 (7lbs 11ozs, 20 inches)
