ERE 596: Introduction to Global Positioning Systems



COURSE PURPOSE

Global positioning systems (GPS) provide a means to collect locational information for a variety of applications. This course provides an introduction to the theory and practice of performing GPS measurements.

At the conclusion of this course, the student will be able to:


COURSE STRUCTURE

This course will consist of three hours of lecture per week for approximately the last third of the semester. The lectures will be taught concurrently with ERE 371 Surveying for Engineers.
