Kelly Bancroft started her graduate studies in Fall 2011, bringing a graduate certificate in Public Management from SUNY Albany and 20 years of experience in government and not-for-profit organizations serving the disabled. Her interests include Canadian-American environmental policy relationships, Great Lakes stewardship, and human dimensions of environmental politics, education and advocacy.

Bryan Comer is a PhD student in Environmental and Natural Resources Policy. Bryan holds a Master's Degree and Bachelor's Degree in Public Policy from the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY. Lisa Greenwood is a doctoral student in Environmental and Natural Resources Policy. Her bachelor’s and master’s degrees are in civil engineering, and she has more than 20 years of professional experience in environmental management with firms including United Technologies and Pratt & Whitney. For the past three years she has been an instructor in the Dept. of Civil Engineering at the Rochester Institute of Technology. She plans to research innovation in corporate environmental management practices, especially as they relate to water quality standards.

Shara Hilton, MS candidate in GPES (part-time student) is researching how consumers think about major purchases, including the role of green certifications in decision making about furniture products. She has professional work experience in the furniture industry as well as property management. She holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies from York University in Toronto (Canada).

About
Yuh-Chin (Yulanda) Hwang (ABD) is a doctoral candidate in GPES. Her PhD research focuses on how museums present the environmental knowledge that is held by indigenous people, and the use of interactive and outdoor approaches to their interpretive work. She holds a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from the National University in Taiwan, and a master’s degree in geography from SUNY – Binghamton.

Matt Isles, MS candidate in GPES with a concentration on water resources, holds a bachelor’s degree from Tufts University in political science. He completed a master’s in public administration (MPA) at the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University through ESF’s concurrent degree program. His thesis research addresses institutional dimensions of environmental policy, specifically the organizational structure and effectiveness of estuary management programs.
