EST 321. Government and the Environment (3)

Three hours of lecture and discussion. An investigation of institutional influences on the American environment. Federal government and its role in environmental management and protection is emphasized. The pressures contributing to the formation of environmental policy are introduced. The practical consequences of this system are demonstrated through case studies. Fall or Spring.
Prerequisite: EST 221.
