The Final Report of the Survey on Impediments to Instructional Quality at ESF was submitted to Faculty Governance at the meeting on 27 April 2005. The report is available here.
Resolution on a faculty Committee on the Budget - Among the "best practices" identified by the SUNY Senate for Rational Fiscal Policy is the formation of faculty budget committees which advise the administration on budgetary matters. This resolution, introduced at the 16 October 2003 meeting of the ESF Faculty, calls upon Faculty Governance to establish such a committee. The text of the resolution may be found here.
Resolution on Tenure and Promotion at ESF - The Ad Hoc Committee on Promotion and Tenure last year made several recommendations on how we might improve the process of tenure and promotion on our campus, which includes a College-level process for review for tenure and promotion. Their report is available here.
