  • Nate Anderson (PhD Candidate, FNRM) will give a presentation on Wednesday, 04/23/08 describing some of the work he is doing using GIS on a research project dealing with the sustainability of the wood products industry in the Northern Forest of northeastern US.

  • Alexis Ellis will be giving a special lecture on Monday, 04/21/08 about her research activities dealing with GIS and the USGS

  • We have completed material from Chapter 3 (Coordinate Systems) and will begin looking at Chapter 9, 10 and 13 (Basic Spatial Analyses) during Monday's (02/18/08) class (lecture notes, as always, are available from link under Table of Contents)
