Up to date Landuse codes from the NY Office of Real Property Services that are used by the town and/or county assessors in recording landuse can be be obtained here or below. These codes are in the CLS field in tax parcel data (but sometimes you will have to join the parcel attribute table to the database file that ends with ARLM using the field parcelnum to make the join).
