The Council for Geospatial Modeling and Analysis (CGMA) is a group of faculty and staff at the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) in Syracuse, NY. CGMA coordinates and enhances many diverse and dynamic activities associated with spatial information. CGMA promotes spatial analysis both on and off campus by developing coherent instructional, research, and public service programs. CGMA also provides a medium for faculty, administrators, staff, and students involved with spatial data to share their experiences and be kept up to date on changes in hardware or software.
The Council for Geospatial Modeling and Analysis encourages participation from any faculty or staff person using spatial information. The current active members of CGMA are:
Meetings are held several times each semester at a time that is convenient to the greatest number of interested individuals. Anyone with an interest in spatial information is welcome at CGMA meetings. Please contact an active CGMA member if you are interested in attending.
