GLRC Student Travel Awards

Starting in 2008, the GLRC instituted student travel awards. Since that time, 11 students have received support to attend and present their research at national and international conferences and meetings.
This Student Travel Award promotes student attendance at the local, national and international conferences by subsidizing a portion of the costs of travel to and from the meeting. Student participation at such conferences is integral to the students' education and the student is expected to attend the entire conference to take advantage of the many educational opportunities afforded by attending these meetings.
The application consists of a 1 page form available on the GLRC website. The GLRC will reimburse up to $100 for local meetings and up to $250 per person for the costs associated with attendance at the meetings.To be eligible, the student must be enrolled in one of the GLRC member colleges, and must be an author on a presentation (oral or poster).
