Alumni Lounge (Nifkin) on the SUNY ESF campus, 1 Forestry Drive, Syracuse, NY 13210
Would you like to become a recognized green professional? Green Associate and LEED AP are your best choices. As you know, LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) is the world’s foremost green building rating system created by U.S. Green Building Council. Let us help you get ready to add this important credential to your professional accomplishments!
As a result of attending the seminar, attendees will understand the LEED green building rating system. Architects and engineers are often required by their jobs to study LEED, but LEED affects everyone. With 1500 LEED registered buildings in New York State, and more towns requiring new constructions to be green, professionals who understand LEED are needed in every field. Developers want to hire people who understand green, from lawyers to property managers, suppliers, brokers, bankers, contractors, decorators, supers, and more. Everyone in the chain had better understand green core principles! This course gives you green knowledge and qualifies you to take the 3rd party Green Associate exam and receive the coveted Green Associate certificate. If you obtain experience working on a LEED project, you will also qualify to take the LEED Accredited Professional exam and become a LEED AP. Your green credentials will get employers’ attention.
The course includes a polished powerpoint program. Professional photos will take you through a water treatment plant, a green roof garden, the inner workings of the world’s first LEED residential hi-rise, and more. With our engaging speakers, this class is always exciting and informative. Take the LEED challenge!
