The College seeks an outstanding leader for one of the nation's premier doctoral-granting educational institutions with a specialized emphasis on the science, design, engineering, policy and management of the natural and built environments.
As one of four members of the executive cabinet, the Vice President for Administration provides leadership and vision to the college's strategic plan and key decisions regarding resource management and allocation. The Vice President for Administration is the Chief Administrative Operations Officer of the College, with broad responsibilities for providing leadership, management and oversight for the College's business and financial affairs, human resources, physical plant and facilities, forest properties, information technology, university police and environmental health and safety. The Vice President oversees a combined staff of approximately 143.
The College seeks a seasoned and creative professional with the leadership capability, management experience, professional expertise, and interpersonal skills to oversee a complex array of responsibilities and divisions, as well as the ability to contribute to the successful accomplishment of SUNY ESF's strategic goals. An advanced degree is preferred.
