This site contains a former USFS fire tower, measuring 60 feet (18.3 m), which was operational until 1979. It is now used for public access at the culmination of the Goodnow Mt. Trail. This site is used as the main repeater of the AHMN system, relaying data from all other sites to the AEC. Measurements: air temperature
