Arbutus Watershed: Biogeochemistry & Hydrology

Project Description

At SUNY-ESF, a variety of projects provide environmental monitoring data in relation to research associated with atmospheric deposition, climate change, and water quality. This website is the portal for those sites being operated by the Biogeochemistry Laboratory in the Department of Environmental and Forest Biology (EFB) that provide realtime environmental information. The Huntington Site includes the realtime physical data associated with the Arbutus Watershed which is located in the center of the Adirondack Park. The Syracuse Center of Excellence (CoE) and the Upper Onondaga Park sites are being developed to compare meteorological conditions and air quality within urban (CoE) and residential settings in the City of Syracuse.
