Festival of Places

The 2011 Festival of Places is scheduled for February 26, 2011 from 7 p.m. to Midnight in Alumni (Nifkin) Lounge, Marshall Hall

Each spring Landscape Architecture celebrates the achievements of students who participated in the Off Campus Experiential Studio (LSA 460/760) at the Festival of Places.  The Festival provides students with an opportunity to share their experiences as well as the reports that were completed during their Off Campus Program semester with faculty, College administrators, alumni, and guests. One of the most anticipated events of the year, the Festival includes the construction of an international "town" that is a collection of artifacts, photographs and illustrations from each group's study site.

George F. Earle Lecture

An important component of the Festival is the annual George F. Earle Lecture, which honors one of the founders of the Off Campus Program.

Partially sponsored by:

  • LAND|scape Club (formerly the Mollet Club)
  • Student Chapter of ASLA
  • ESF Alumni Association, Inc.
