Tree Pest Information Service
The Tree Pest Information Service represents the College in the local community and serves as a resource for numerous agencies, schools, and businesses statewide. The majority of inquiries come from individuals about insect identification, tree disease and insect problems, and tree care. The primary role of the Extension Office is to convey current technical information to users in a form both easily understood and applicable. Other service involves presentations for schools, organizations and other groups (including the State Fair); tours, and a publications program that includes the Tree Pest Leaflets and Environmental Information Series of pamphlets.
