Experience the Lake George area before the conference begins!
NERR has arranged with Up Yonda Farm Environmental Education Center in Bolton Landing to host two field trips:
Up Yonda Farm offers 73 acres of woodlands and meadows with spectacular views of Lake George. Natural history exhibits featuring native mammals and birds are housed in the museum. Watch for wildlife outdoors as you hike along one of our woodland trails. Your trip to Up Yonda will include a guided tour of Up Yonda’s trails and sugar maple bush by one of the Up Yonda staff members. Or hike the trails on your own if you wish! Trails range in difficulty from easy to strenuous.
These are “drive yourself” field trips. The $3 admission charge per person is payable directly to Up Yonda Farms when you arrive. There is a $3 parking fee per car.
Up Yonda Farm is operated by Warren County Parks and Recreation. For more information about Up Yonda, visit “http://www.upyondafarm.com/.”
Directions to Up Yonda Farm: Exit the Sagamore and head north on Route 9N. Up Yonda Farm is about 1.1 miles up on the left.
