By Car -- The Otesaga, Cooperstown, NY is a 1.5 hour drive west of Albany, 1.5 hours northeast of Binghamton, or 2 hours east of Syracuse. For detailed directions, visit The Otesaga website at “http://www.otesaga.com/Directions/”.
By Air -- The closest airports to The Otesaga are the Albany International and Greater Binghamton airports; Hancock International Airport in Syracuse is a slightly longer drive.
There is no hotel shuttle from the airport to The Otesaga; please be prepared to either rent a car or carpool with someone else.
Car pooling from airports
In order to facilitate travel from the airports to The Otesaga, we will be organizing car pools through this website. If you are willing to share a rental car and rental expenses with other conference attendees, please send your flight travel date, arrival time, airport name, and contact information to Diane Kuehn (dmkuehn@esf.edu) for posting on this website. Please also let us know if you plan on renting a vehicle or if you would prefer to ride with someone else who is renting.
