ESF Professor Takes Carnegie Foundation Honors
Professor George Curry, a longtime faculty member in the Department of Landscape Architecture, was named 2008 New York Professor of the Year by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education. (11/20)

CuseCar Drives onto SUNY-ESF Campus
CuseCar is a not-for-profit community car sharing organization, with the mission to provide a sustainable transportation program in Onondaga County that will reduce vehicle miles traveled, lower the carbon footprint, improve air quality, and assist in developing a new green energy fuel distribution system for the community. ESF Men's Soccer Team Wins Club Title
The SUNY-ESF men's soccer team won the Men's Collegiate Club Soccer Playoffs November 1. The fourth-seeded ESF team worked its way into the tournament finals with a 2-1 upset win over SUNY Cortland. (11/4)

CNY Naturally Chilled Water Project Charts Its Progress
Cold, clean water from Lake Ontario has the potential to act as a natural coolant for buildings in Syracuse while reducing emissions of greenhouse gasses, substantially cutting energy costs, and aiding in the restoration of Onondaga Lake, a team of scientists said today. (10/16)

Education and Scholarships for Local Students
Under the terms of a transfer partnership agreement signed Tuesday by the presidents of ESF and Onondaga Community College (OCC), ESF will guarantee admission to qualified students and provide scholarships that cover the difference in tuition costs between the two institutions. (10/1)
