Victoria Monroe

Victoria is often behind the scenes at ESF Outreach, working on support for the grants that make Outreach programming possible.  She primarily works on a U.S. Department of Labor grant that provides continuing education in the areas of Engineering, Biotechnology, Indoor Environmental Quality, and Renewable Energy.

Victoria holds a BA in linguistics and an MS in counseling and psychological services, both from the State University of New York at Oswego.  She is a National Certified Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor.  Prior to joining ESF, Victoria worked at the Rape Crisis Center of Syracuse.  Her career has evolved from counseling and social work to grant writing and program management.  Her experience in higher education includes working as director of the Liberty Partnership Program, which provides counseling and academic support to middle school and high school students.

Victoria enjoys walking, reading, cooking new cuisines, and spending time with her family and her cats.  She does frequent volunteer work and also works two days each year as an Election Inspector.
